ONLB Group – Órbita Leads Strategic Trade Mission to China, Invited by the Nanjing Chamber of Commerce and the Country’s Leading Bus Manufacturers

Lima, March 1, 2025 – As part of a strategic agenda for international cooperation and the modernization of urban transport in Peru, the ONLB Group – Órbita has been officially invited by the Nanjing Chamber of Commerce and China’s top bus manufacturers to participate in a high-level commercial mission.

The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations, explore new technologies in sustainable mobility, and evaluate concrete opportunities for fleet acquisition in Peru’s public transportation system. One of the central objectives of the mission is the technical and commercial assessment for a potential purchase of up to 10,000 buses over a five-year period, as part of a large-scale fleet renewal plan.

Also invited to join the delegation is the Lima and Callao Urban Transport Chamber, reinforcing a strong public-private alliance to transform urban mobility with world-class solutions.

Mission Agenda:

• Technical visits to the main factories of electric, hybrid, and CNG-powered buses.
• Business meetings with leaders in China’s automotive and smart mobility sectors.
• Institutional sessions with representatives from the Nanjing Chamber of Commerce and international investment agencies.
• Analysis of collaboration models for technology transfer, local assembly, and financing mechanisms.

We will evaluate the world's leading technologies with the goal of acquiring up to 10,000 units in five years to deliver cleaner, smarter, and more efficient service,” said Giovanni Gibaja, Director of Órbita.
